Call for Proposals
LRA will begin accepting proposals electronically on January 11th, 2021 and no later than 11:59 PM PST on March 1, 2021. Please select the image below, to view the 2021 Call for Proposals document.

Important Changes in All Academic Proposal Submissions
In order to make sure that each proposal is correctly uploaded into the system, we have created a few short video tutorials to aid in making sure that proposals are uploaded properly into the system. By going through the video tutorials, this will ensure that your proposals are uploaded properly and that all of your session participants will be visible within the online program. Important Dates to Remember
January 11, 2021 - First day that proposals for the 2021 Conference may be submitted online.
February 7, 2022 - 2021 conference papers must be submitted for review to the Editors of Literacy Research: Theory, Method, and Practice to be considered for Volume 70.
March 1, 2021 - Proposals for the 2021 conference program must be submitted electronically by 11:59 PM PST
July 23, 2021 - Notification of all proposal review decisions will be sent out via email, but only to the individual identified as the contact person when the proposal was submitted. This person must notify all other individuals.
August 15, 2021 - Applications for the Student Research Award must be received by the Chair of the committee (see LRA website for Award details). http://www.literacyresearchassociation.org/award-student-outstanding-research-award
October 1, 2021 - Applications for the J. Michael Parker Award must be received by the Chair of the committee (see LRA website for Award details). http://www.literacyresearchassociation.org/award--j--michael-parker-award
